Dharma

Dharma is the path that one must take in life. The meaning also applies to the spiritual path or the religion. It is basically the path of your belief. There are many spiritual teachers who has taught many paths to enlightenment. All paths lead to love and liberation, which is the ultimate goal in life.

Dharma is also the life purpose. When we are born, the time of birth is a complex arrangement of stars that define our goal and purpose in life. The natal chart can show us our personality, purpose and how we interact with others in life. That’s why astrology has impacted throughout generations up till the modern times in many cultures. The wisdom of the stars unravel the hidden wisdom to the discerning eye. Tales of the past, present and future is hidden in astrology woven into dharma that continues as long as the soul does assisting the evolution.

Dharma can be interpreted as the philosophical view that acts as a light post to achieving the goals of life. The chosen philosophy dictates our principles and values, good or bad. Based on it the moment to moment choices will be made that will lead to the creation of new timelines of the future. Every action that we take now dictates the future. Likewise, our beliefs will direct our actions towards unraveling the true life purpose or if the choice is to entangle deeper in the cycles of karma. Dharma opens the mind to spirituality, which in turn opens the world we have forgotten the minute we were born into this world.

The life path is set before birth. It is our duty to seek it out through the pursuit of happiness without getting in the web of illusion. Once we connect to our heart space and take the leap of faith to trust the little voice inside, the rest of the universe opens up. It is our choice to keep eyes shut, be unawakened within the 4% of the universe or open up to the magic of infinite possibilities to push beyond the limitations of the human mind and body.

Artha

Artha is the means of income or livelihood as well as wealth and  possessions. This is how you will be earning a living or what it is that you call a career. There is no one type of artha as there are many possibilities made available depending on the choices made and the talents developed. The right choices that will lead to happiness is solely dependent of free will and the choice of the dharmic path.

Depending on the overall life purpose and the natal chart placements, suppose that the life goal is to be a spiritual teacher. There are many ways of achieving that depending on that such as by being a writer, being a priest, being a speaker, being a philosopher or just through impacting the lives of all who you meet. Look at the unique life of Amma who gives hugs. Through following passions, life purpose unveils. That life purpose, in turn, brings means of income and livelihood.

One sad fact about the modern day society is that money is the motivating factor on pursuing the career path instead of passion. This may be the reason why that there are so many people with unfulfilling jobs. I’ve heard of the phrase “I hate my job” one too many times. The idea that the job is something that should be liked but a means to an end is the wrong perception and a limitation of the mind. Part of life is enjoyment. It leads to true passions that are in alignment at a soul level. The pursuit of happiness begins and ends with following joy.

By doing something that we love and value, it creates a sense of joy and self-worth. Blessed is the one who follows his true path as he/she radiates joy to those around. Social structures, economic limitations, cultural ideals and even mental limitations are challenges to overcome in life. They most definitely are not barriers to success. Anything strived for with faith and persistence, will be granted by the universe in due time

Kama

Kama is the desire. Yes, you thought of Kama Sutra and you are right. Kama means desire and sutra means guidelines or instructions. Without getting sidetracked, in this case it means all our desires that we would like fulfilled.

As humans, there are many meandering thoughts of desires that rushes through our wondering minds. Desire to eat a certain food, desire to buy that certain car, desire to travel to a certain country or simply the desire to take a nap! With all these flighty desires running through every second, there are important ones that stick around while unimportant  ones that leave the conscious mind as soon as it enters.

Through the Law of Attraction, the ones that consistently occupy the mind space will eventually be brought into manifestation. By thinking of something over a long time, the natural inclination is to take action towards making it a reality. Buying a car means car shopping, saving up, selling the old car, etc.. When you are aligned with Dharma, Kama will automatically reflect that of the Dharma, taking you in the right path.

Dharma

Moksha is liberation. First interpretation is the liberation from the karmic cycles. The reincarnation trap is when souls incur karma and reincarnate to balance it out. The trap occurs when the balancing goes wrong resulting in additional karma. This has been going on for thousands of years but recently there were releasing of karma in the planet at a mass scale to free the human souls from this cycle. Karma is the good and bad effects of actions. Being spiritually aligned helps to make good choices that keeps from bad karma.

The second interpretation is related to the duality of our world. Earth is a planet of duality. Good and bad has free range and we are allowed to choose our future. The idea is to rise above this confusion and duality to learn Oneness. Liberation that the human seeks lies in rising above the matrix or the 3D structure to a place where higher emotions rule. That includes not giving into baseless desires and heeding true and beneficial desires.

Third interpretation is literally the feeling of freedom that arises from pure joy of living the life you want. this calls for mastery to a certain level. Manifesting the reality you want to live is not something everyone can do due to the limitations set by the human mind. The wonder of the human mind is that the dreamers can also weave the dream into the reality with strong faith. When following the true life purpose because of following the true Kama, there is the reward of getting Artha leading to Moksha.

This liberation is the break from the limiting 3D world to the world created to suit your own needs. This also comes through letting go of the need to self-serve and to being of service to others. The recognition that life lived for self is selfish and life lived for others benefits all, including self is the true philosophy we come to learn. Love and unity is the freedom for all.
